September and October were “unseasonably” warm this year. My daughter, who watches the weather like a hawk, swore that November would be cooler. And it was, for about fifteen minutes over a week ago. They are telling us it’s going to be cool yet again, not cool, down right cold! I was so thrilled I got out every one of my sweaters—every last one, old favorites and new. So I figured I’d do a cozy sweater round up for you today! So grab your hot chocolate, and let’s get started!
I LOVE the look of the oversized cozy sweater with jeans or leggings. We’ve seen this look so many ways. My go to for really cold days is a large fisherman’s knit. I have it in a soft teal which I love and off white which is a color I am always drawn to. This look is one and done, so simple and comfortable, yet so pulled together. Sweaters like this can be a bit bulky, but they also come in a thinner ply so if you are looking for beautiful knit work-that’s one of the things I love about these sweaters-simply look for a lighter weight yarn.
The pearl trend was huge last winter and we are still seeing pearls added to sweaters and jeans, this season. And of course the bell sleeves are still going strong. I love this soft blush sweater from last winter. I’m already looking for more opportunities to wear it.
I fell in love with this versatile sweater from Cabi this season. It’s a soft steely light blue and it’s reversible, so it can be styled as a pullover with the zipper down the back which is super cute, or you can wear it as a cardigan. It looks great over jeans but could also be worn with a skirt and blouse in the office. I LOVE clothing that can be worn several ways.
Cardigans are always a favorite in my book, both the button down twin sweaters type and the jacket look. This year, we are seeing cardis that wear like a blazer, with a boxy silhouette. Great for weekend with jeans and the office, either with dress pants or a pencil skirt.

Such an array of knitted cosiness. That’s pretty much my uniform at the moment. Looking lovely in them all and love your chunky jumper and Spanx faux look.

I’m jealous to hear of your unseasonably warm weather. We’re heading into two straight weeks of below freezing temperatures, sigh. Your fisherman’s sweater is very stylish !
